I’m an unofficial advocate for the environment.  I follow both Philly (being from the area since birth) and global eco-events.  I graduated from Penn State (We Are!) with a Political Science degree, so I eagerly stay up to date with environmental bills in Congress.  Currently, I produce audio conferences and have produced several enviro-topics.

I’ve always been interested in the environment – from when I learned about the three “R’s” in elementary school, to more recently broadening green habits anywhere I can. While I know I can’t change the world on my own, I believe I can help others to start taking small actions.  (And luckily I found Beth – a friend with a similar green philosophy interested in blogging to spread enviro-tips.)  Yes, it’s definitely difficult to be *perfectly* green – but if we all take small steps in the right direction – together we can make a huge and positive impact on our environment.

My interests often involve the environment – ranging from traveling (trying to see the world – Don’t worry though, I offset my carbon trail on these journeys), skiing (love the Rockies), photography, long distance running…  Fitting for my enviro-interest, my favorite color is green – but pink is a close second favorite.  In my spare time, I also enjoy spending time with family, friends, and two puppies – Rachel and Maximus.
