GreenFest Philly this Sunday!

Who’s ready to Party like there IS a Tomorrow?

That’s the slogan for GreenFest Philly is this Sunday, September 13th from 11 AM – 6 PM at Headhouse Square (2nd & South Streets).

Festivities of this annual one-day street fair include live music & entertainment, local produce, yoga, green contests, composting, recycling, over 200 eco-friendly vendors, vegetarian food, sneaker recycling, Eco Exchange Fashion Show & Clothing Swap, Food Symposium & Green Film Festival.  Last year’s GreenFest had much to offer for eco-minded Philadelphians.

Hungry?  This year’s theme is sustainable food.  Take advantage and learn how to buy organic and local while eating veggie-friendly or pasture-raised/grass-fed diet – making the earth and your body happy.

Village Green Participants ’09 include:
